hiv in the UK

• Recent research indicates an estimated 40% of HIV infections in UK gay men and 60% of HIV infections in Africans living the UK remain undiagnosed. Read more about it here.
• Over 90% of people taking HIV treatment in the UK have an undetectable viral load.
• New rules being enacted by the Government of the United States will mean people with HIV will no longer be prohibited from travelling to or through the USA. There are more details here.

BBC Radio 4 has produced a two part series, Living with AIDS: Britain's Battle, looking at the social impact of HIV/AIDS on the UK.
